I Am the One

I am the one you said will never be anything in life, but those same words taught me how to fight. I am the one you called ugly, but I have grown to know true beauty is concentrated and embedded deeply set firmly within me. I am the one that cried the most, but those same tears watered me to grow. I am the one you could not fully love despite your feelings for me; I learned you have to love yourself before being able to love anyone else. I am the one that is determine to be accomplished in life no longer, discourage by your obvious lack of confidence. I am the one who suffered the most pain, but with that same pain knowledge, I gained. I am that one star that you glaze up to when daylight no longer shines through. The twinkle in God eyes his prize possession I am dominance as I continue to rise. I am the one you secretly want to be, but there can only be one you, and one me. As I grow old, my wisdom will continue to grow, and when they lay me to rest, I will be the one known best.
