I Am Keeping My Poems Short
I’m keeping my poems, short
I’m keeping my poems, short.
Although I’m not sure that is right.
As when my pen touches paper!
All it wants to do is write.
I must control its fever.
As that’s what it seems to be.
As words flow, oh so swiftly,
from this pen, in the hand of me.
Do you have the same problem?
With the pen in your hand.
When you start your writing,
do you feel so grand?
I must keep my poems, short.
Then can fit them on one page.
So they will never overlap,
and drive me in a rage.
So as this page is ending.
I shall have to make my pen stop.
I’ll concentrate my mind to pen.
And say Oops, I’ve got writers block.
PS I have not really. Lol (The new mad Author)
