How Simple

Had a date with her She winked, I blinked And loaded my heart, wholesome for her I hired a limo to befit my class My watch and shirt, I tagged a designer And God is great, she came in time To smell my freshly gilded cologne Entered a Man Simple like a sample And soon I took notes Excuse me! Said she And I saw her on a bicycle Clinging to the sample In darkness its hopeless to peer But I tried Till he, the man Used his cigar to indicate Turned left and the rest is unknown Took me the grace To call her Number One day you will understand, Said she! How Simple.
