Hope

I live for hope within my burdened soul, I cannot force my thoughts to sway, I cannot make my feelings go away, I have no control. Hope. I do not lean on my own understanding, I wait for the burden to lift, I wish for God's ultimate gift, I relinquish to God all demanding. Hope. I rest in the power of His love, I stop my struggling within, I wait for Him, my Lord, my Friend, He will guide me from above. Hope.
