Home
Every living thing have a home
Dave said to his son, Jerome.
All creatures need a home, too,
Just like you and I do.
Ants are smaller than a pill,
Yet, some live in great big hills.
A hive is a home for the bees,
Way up high in those tall trees.
Spiders makes incredible webs,
Where it lives until it ebbs.
Mom's chickens live in a coop,
And sit upon their wooden stoop.
Our mule lives in the shed,
And sleeps on the hay for its bed.
In the forest mice live in holes,
Safe from their prey, I'm told.
And monkeys live up-high in trees,
Where they feels so safe and free.
Just like you and I, Jerome,
But a strong house is our home.
