Hold Me

Hold me. Hold me one last time within your strong brown arms and red blooded heart. Hold me to your chest so fierce with lovely loyalty, warmed by inclusion, chilled by my exclusion. Hold me this one last time to remember all the hours and lifetimes before, to fade from memory aching days and nights alone without becoming touched on skin in heart and mind longing to live more fully in this body worthy of our primal embrace. Wrap your arms and legs and breath around me. Hold me one last time before I go where we can never again feel ourselves together warm skin on warm. Hold me in our love. Hold me one last time, forever.
