History of Our Love

You tried to hide from me at the start. You didn't know me or my heart. You couldn't trust any man at all. I broke down your walls, and you started to fall. I saw in your eyes that you needed someone, but only someone you could trust. I knew that I could be that someone, and your heart I gradually won. Our life started, on that special day, In a time and place so far away. We promised each other before God and man, to stick together forever, was our plan. And now I can say, at the end of the day, Even tho troubles have come our way, That my love is stronger now than at the start. And you will always have my heart.
