His Note

There she was,
5 foot 3.
In the hall,
Books in hand.
Her dark chocolate brown hair,
Shining in the rainy days dim light.
She turns,
And smile,
That smile.
That smile,
That suddenly brightens the hall.
What gets me the most though,
Is her eyes.
Dark brown.
Almost black.
Specks of gold,
That glitter in the sunlight,
With her smile.
even on the dreary days,
Like today.

This is very touching. Nice perspective.
