'hidden Beauty'

you were that diamond in the rough the one they never noticed until you started to shine, your hidden beauty became the one thing everybody noticed precisely at the time you decided to shut the world out they sat up and took note they finally saw you

Was it too late or just in time Wilma; the mystery knaws at me as the story is too shy to come on strong. Love the way you tease the reader! LoveLizzie

What a very inspiring poem this is, Missy---I think so many people are these "hidden beauties"-- how wonderful it is when they are unearthed, so to speak-- thanks as well for passing by my poem, hmm can't say exactly that I am happy that you can relate to it, but I am glad you liked it! Mwahugs and also enjoy your day--- 14 mins and counting... my connection is slowwww.

Yes been in that chair before, I think that chair has my name on it lol. You spill such deep feelings with such a tender loving voice. Hence why you are Cape Town Honey. Love and two kisses , one on your cheek the other on the other. :•) MJF

So very true, Wilma. So many are not able to 'shut the world out', and the world never gets to see the real "you". Insightful write! Much love, Annalise

Not to be noticed until it no longer matters and one has stopped caring...a too common situation, often with regrettable results. This is an insightful and well-composed piece that I enjoyed reading.
