Heavy Hope
When the sun shines from behind a fool’s eclipse
It is known that something greater lingers
The residing world has no time to fix
Conniving, destructive and fearful fingers
Anarchy swoops, tearing down the overlords
What is left is nothing more than a blunder
Indignant upheaval gives life to the hordes
Till martyrs and mavericks tear them asunder
And then the light fades from orange to red
We can see the end creeping up to our doors
Rush back inside to avoid all the dead
Tend to your wounds - those suppurating sores
But fear not the future and be contented to stay
For tomorrow, my friend, is a brand new day
