Hear Me

So you may have caught a glimpse of me with your eyes but I can guarantee you have never really seen me, you might have even felt me once or twice with your hands but you have never truly touched me, you think you know the sound of my voice but you have never taken the time to listen to me, you might have certain feelings inside but I refuse to let myself believe that you love me, maybe you have learned a thing or two from me but some things in this life can't be taught, you may have gotten me a few things from time to time but now you know some people can't be bought, you may think you are solid but it seems transparency is your biggest sickness, maybe you can read but I doubt your mind can begin to comprehend this, you try to act cool but deep down your whole world is shaking, when you lie to yourself every single time you leave your soul for the taking, you always say your fine but pain always recognizes pain, on me you try to place the blame but game always recognizes game. Try to run and hide but in the end there will be no place to go, whatever it is you fear the most avoidance will make it grow, you try to walk a higher path but always end up lost, you took a gamble and bet it all but now you know the cost, Change is sacrifice and the bigger the transformation the more you have to give, either give up now and die or make the conscious decision to live. To achieve your brightest tomorrow you must first command the present, you have to take a close look at your darker side and that is never pleasant. The flip side was never promised and the future may not come at all, and if you ever really want to know what you're made of you have to fall. Identity of self can't be known when life is going good, taking the chances to expose yourself is the only way to be understood. Go ahead and keep telling your lies because its yourself you are trying to convince, I know these things because I've lived it, and suffered ever since. So do what you will with these words of mine and I truely hope they may somehow teach you, just know I have been there too and this is why I hope I can somehow reach you!
