He
Memory
He was wild and strong, our elder
We learned from him
I remember him in his youth
We all have some one like that
45 years later
He is a shell of his former self
Mountains we climbed as we hunt
Colorado,Arizona,Utah
Treating me like a son
Some times better then your own father
We all have some one like that
Teaching us how short life really is
Ive had time to share some of his life
I learned joy,fear,respect,
Learned that what men do is'nt always right
While he is here he will never walk alone
For I will be there as he was for me
We all have some one like that
So take the time to absorb the memories
Hold them tight
For some times that is all we have left
We all have some one like that
