Happiness 101

Well here we are At the start of a brand new day The sun is shining, the boidies is singing What more is there to say! As I look outside Some dark clouds are on the way But don't you worry, I'll just sing a song To chase all those clouds away! My words are clear There is nothing more to say Blue skies up above, a feeling the love Yet another fun filled day! Guess this can get A bit over the top as they say But being happy can be a lot of fun Sadness will fly way! People always ask me How come I'm upbeat each day It really is quite simple dear friends Attitude's the answer I say! Well here we are At the start of a brand new day The sun is shining, the boidies is singing What more is there to say! © Jack Ellison 2013

I have this to say Jack. This poem makes me happy and makes me think that sometimes a little attitude adjustment is in order to turn a so so day into a fabulous one.

We had a tornado last night. I picked my Hubby up from work as it hit. We were 2 minutes ahead... 25 houses lost roofs. Trees fell on houses. An attached garage disappeared, A house lost brick siding, ect. It swung by us, but no damage. Tree limbs down, garbage cans amuck, and house light blew up(strange). Happiness 101 is count your blessings. Oh and my dragon pee'd on my carpet. Dumb dragon. I tried to walk him but he was afraid of the lightening. He blamed my dog Fivo. We know better... LOL

PS... Happiness is to keep on running ahead of the storm... and to win... Not everyone does or can... Then to help the others clean up, afterward.
