Hanging Around
Hanging Around
To prove our faith, why do we keep trying
Then after that we will start denying
What has happened ever took place
Even ending up with a frightened face.
Why should I believe in someone like that?
When cats bother me I tell them to go scat
People may start telling me the same thing
Thinking a hardship on them will bring.
Troublesome character am I starting to be
From sin want God to set your soul free
And while He's at it do same to mine
So things will better and sun will shine.
What to others should I start to suggest
How about all our sins must be confessed
And now that God we have finally found
Continually thank Him for hanging around.
Wife thinks something is wrong with me
And hope all of you are starting to see
Rather than playing golf and in the clover
Again, I am accepting God over and over.
