Halloween Night Parade A Harvest moon shines Caramel skies of shades of yellow, gold, and brown As the sun goes down until the twilight hours of dawn Cool wet fog lazily wavers low to the ground The night revolves in the night sky and sings Stars flickering in the distance shedding its soft glowing light Leaves on the trees glitter and dance in the moonlight The wind slightly flowing Pushing itself through the trees and leaves Making its mysterious voice heard Mockingbirds and Nightingales with an all night concert Owls hooting, bats flying In the distant night sky The goblins, ghost, witches, and warlocks Out prowling through the streets and alleys Keeping up with all the superheroes Knocking on haunted houses doors With their bags in their hands full of candy yelling Trick or Treat 10/9/2015 Children Story

You have set up the idyllic atmosphere, dear Eve, by painting all hues of fantasy! Excellently done!

Eve, this was always a holiday I loved when young. Number one you got to hide in a costume you could be inventive and make yourself, and number two CANDY! This poem is delightful with wonderful images!
