just one crazy bush spread out in that barren field sprouts blood-red berries one icy window one index finger writing she reads backwards smiles how simply charming this snowflake hits my window melts a wayward star

how clever to put three Haiku together that way. all three were beautiful. thank you for reading my poem and for your comment. you must be about the age of my brother, he was born in 1929, he served in the Air Force during the Korea War. Denver has changed a lot since then. I moved here in 1977 and it has changed a lot since then. They built Mile High Stadium I think in 1947 or 48, since torn down.

A wonderful haiku my friend. Snowflake becoming a star is a winner.

And my favorite, is the third! A wayward star - how completely enchanting! All three, quite seriously, are excellent! Love, Shar
