Grey Flower

Astronomical grey Leaving a touch of white Within its darkest pores Petals floating on down To the reflective waters That latch onto Its very essence Imploring grace Deep into the center of grey Which the flower envelopes And is created into A color world It’s nice to see some grey To fill the void That exists when color Is absent and obliterated The noble being Of this flower Blooming through the darkness Becoming grey from the light That arrives in truth Even the water below Is dark, everything is black But the slight white That makes the grey Come alive The flower overcame Darkness

melancholy with deep tpuches of grey, russell.. there is much depth in work, as if you were really into a moment and finally , in , slow pace, redeemed by some sense of awakening... a stunning piece in all its gray hues!..:) huggs

Russell, love the write... I am glad I read this poem. Now I can stop by and tell you, about my poem. The thought here, is almost like the thought in my poem. It's about the darkness pulling me into the light. Like a flower, tainted by rain, giving up it's petals just to breathe again. Love this little life seeking Grace... never giving in to the darkness. A perfect 10 poem. Adding this poem on my FAVORITE poem list... hugs...LINDA
