Gratitude
Thanking the Lord for where i was born
my mouth not dry and stomach not torn.
Hunger pains all being a thing of the past
just a numb emptiness,to millions so vast.
Able to turn on a tap,a comodity to treasure
having to walk miles each day,a limited measure.
Governments around the globe, help don`t be a cynic
the riches that we take for granted, would build a modern clinic.
So when you wake up each day,and take a lung full of fresh air
take time, count, your blessings, that you are not there
amongst the sweltering unfortunates, everyday a struggling task
getting along with hard simple lives, nothing they do ask.
