Good Memories Never Die
(In Memory of Lamar "L-Boogie" Featherston)
I'll never forget how you looked Me,
dead in the eye
As you, downhill on a motorbike, from
82nd did fly
Now, are We of any Physical trace of
you shy
And, I can't help but to keep wondering
why
On that fateful day of November 4th, you
had to die
When in the back of My mind, the answer
to that, did lie
Still, it does it No justice, your going to be
with the Lord, in the sky
Especially, if I can't let it go, No matter how
hard I try
Much like your Mother, crying tears to make
a well run dry
From the shock of losing you, and Not being
able to say: "goodbye"
