Gone

I seen you in the halls, I may have talked to you a time or two, You were in my History class, You were always in a happy mood. Then that day came. I didn't think it would happen. I am sure your parents didn't either. You are gone, because of speeding. I wish i could have got to know you better. Maybe we could have been friends. But when I heard the news, I felt like I missed a great opportunity, To get to know you, To be your friend. But you are gone, gone forever. You will always be remembered, From all the teens in our school. The pain we feel for you and your family, Will always be with us, for now you are gone.
