Goethe's Path

Covered in rich memories I walk this path of hope Scuffling the rich dead leaves Where thoughts seed, tries to cope The richness of life's throng Like the leaves dried beneath your feet Walk listening to the blackbirds song Digging at your memories buried deep This path of desires of wants of maybe's Showing you life as it could have been Forcing you to face life as it appears Not how you would wish it to be seen.
