God's Glory Your Gain
For several years now I've been plagued
By sickness and disease
Now it's hard to do the things I used to do with ease
One night not too long ago I went to God in prayer
I said "In Your word You tell us to cast on You our care
Tell me Lord what have I done to make You mad at me
Open up my blinded eyes so I can clearly see"
In quietness I heard Him say "My child please understand
Although you're in a valley I still hold you in My hand
You have not done a thing My child to make Me mad at you
But this is for My glory and I will see you through
Remember this my precious one there won't always be pain
For when I get My glory you will get your gain
You're going to come out stronger than you ever did before
I am refining you as gold; don't worry anymore"
