Ghosts' Playground

swings are swaying
who is this playing
play horses rocking to and fro
I see no one, where did they go

the merry-go round
spinning ever so slowly
no one is around
it looks so lonely

I hear no laughter
just lonely moans
where children used to gather
from all kinds of homes

so I guess I'll just sit here
and watch the ghosts play
listening to hear
the echos of yesterday

This is an outstanding poem TuLisha! I feel like I'm sitting there with you, watching the ghosts play and wondering what happened to the children. Beautifully descriptive and compelling writing. Love, Carolyn
