Fun In the Sun Kitten and Butterflies

They tickle my nose with their vibrant wings I stretch in the sun; I’m ready to play Butterflies are gentle they don’t have stings I love to have fun on a sunny day I stretch in the sun; I’m ready to play When a butterfly lands on my pink nose I love to have fun on a sunny day Watching butterflies settle on a rose When a butterfly lands on my pink nose I jump and the butterfly flits away Watching butterflies settle on a rose I hope they will return and play some day I jump and the butterfly flits away Butterflies are gentle they don’t have stings I hope they will return and play some day They tickle my nose with their vibrant wings Contest Kitten and Butterflies Sponsored by Eve Roper 03~12~16

A delightful write Jan, very playful. I visited a temporary butterfly conservatory a couple of days ago. It was beautiful with hundreds of butterflies.

I remember going to a butterfly farm with my son many years ago - I was in heaven watching the butterflies emerge and take their first flight:-) hugs Jan xx

This was a delight to read, Jan:) Fitting butterfly language and imagery. Not an easy form, because it all has to make sense when the repeated lines reappear. You will soar with this one!:) hugs // paul

Yes, butterflies are beautiful creatures and I'vxe written my share of them. Kittens too but I prefer dogs. In Sept. thousands of monarchs make their annual fuel stop (on goldenrods) along our beaches where I live. It's quite a sight, except for those !@#$% ladies who pick them off and stuff needles up their rears to make artsy collages1 Damn them, I say. Hope you win the contest. / M
