From Awe To Indignation

Faint yellow is the first to appear Leaves march forth in harmonic progression To autumn’s clock all must adhere Amber, scarlet and purple in procession Bring gasps of wonder till winter’s colorless indignation *Written September 1, 2014 For Francine’s contest

A very passionate and ingenius way to ascribe emotions to the seasons Carolyn. I respect the bold movement of your mind. Winter does indeed appear to be the merciless curtain of Nature's vibrant beauty, until one walks long in the snowy night, or perceives how the barren cold promotes strength in those exposed. I've enjoyed the skill of your poetic psychology. J.A.B.
