Free Passage Beyond the Veil

(by His Blood Alone) I cannot know how or when my soul will fly to heaven’s glen; the future’s hidden until then. I only know where I’ve been. I know the One who lives within, who knows my heart, sees every sin. To Him alone, my soul will lean with no fear of the unforeseen. Why stand each hour in dismay? Christ himself awaits the day - the last enemy, death, to betray. Soul and body, what are they? A living being, housed in clay; one shall live, the other decay. Not as one without hope I pray to bear the image of heavenly array. So shall I ever, with Him, stay.
