Four Seasons In Haiku

Green sprouts from the earth Life renews itself again- The birds herald spring. Lazy days of sun Cannonball in the river- Summer is most fun. Leaves swirl in the wind Mushrooms pop up everywhere- Fall is on display. Breath hangs in the air White grass crunches underfoot- Winter grips the land. July 5, 2015

Thank you, Casarah. I've had a poetry blog for about 6 months but, rarely, received any feedback. Thought I would try a site for poets so I can see if I'm heading in the right direction. I love your poem about spring so left you a comment, as well. Will be enjoying your poetry from now on. Thanks again. Jan

Hello, from one Jan to another. Your beautiful comment is my first feedback on this site. So thrilled that there are people out there enjoying my poetry. When another poet makes a positive comment, it is like winning a prize. I think I've finally found like-minded people who share my passion. Thanks for taking the time to read my poetry and leave me some encouragement. Jan
