Forgot To Bring My Wife
Forgot to Bring My Wife
Heard singing group get right with it
They all were amazing I must admit
Some sang while others were playing;
We sat around and words were saying.
He is a very great player on the violin
And we hope he will come back again
Another new player was picking along
Had great memory and knew every song.
Heard them and we were thrilled to death
Great music was in each and every breath
Then you knew they would have to grieve
When we ask them if they wanted to leave.
Can't weight until they come back again
And somehow hope they will let me in
They were so great and love of my life
But I had forgotten to bring my wife.
