Forgiveness
What is forgiveness
A state of mind that’s open
A heart that still cares-
The wish to set back the clock
And start all over again.
Hope to heal the pain
The salve of understanding
Tears that wash away-
Bitterness inside the heart
Made sweet for a fresh new start
