Forever Young

I am clueless to the way they act They have changed a lot and that’s a fact Why they are so is a mystery to me The reason why, I just fail to see But it seems to be about growing old With age maybe the heart turns hard and cold So forgive me if I choose to sit here and bite my tongue And hope my heart and soul will stay forever young

Hey again, John! This is a thought provoking piece. I hope that my heart will never grow old and stagnant, and I'm sure your 'heart and soul will stay forever young'. We must accept changes, but holding onto our young hearts and budding souls, is of essence. Some may have seemed to have hardened, though it is likely just a passing thing. Life can throw a hard ball..do we catch or bat them away? Take care of yourself, my friend! God bless you...love, Mikki
