Forbidden Love

Forbidden Love Upon the sight of each other They fell in love with one another Never did they imagine Their love would be such passion. Then the struggles appeared. Coming from far and near Neither one expected to be A nuisance and be rejected. Neither parent could agree To live in harmony So they forbade their children To keep each other company. So the children’s love Became a shrine, A tomb, where their parents Agree to meet and share a sign. By: Nena Enriquez
