For the Love of Will

For The Love Of Will The pain is deeply rooted within. They see but don't know the thoughts that constantly stir. Fear, regret and remorse as I drift off to sleep. Into a land of peace and tranquility. Acceptance, reassurance and unconditional love awaits me. Oh how he loves me for whom and what I am. Can it be true? Can it be real? His loving eyes shine down upon me in admiration. I never want to wake to a life of uncertainty. Words softly spoken from his lips to my heart. The promise reveals his sanctuary within the embrace of his arms.

Thanks again. A very difficult loss. A young man I knew. His parents have money and could give him anything he wanted. But money doesn't buy happiness or love. It's something you feel from within. Scars of the heart are hard to heal.

Hi SKAT thank you so much. :-) This is such a sweet welcome. The poem was written about a young man that committed suicide. His family has money and gave him pretty much anything he could ever want but he still wasn't happy. I'm a single mother of 4. I've always loved to write and find peace whenever I do. I'm a bit nervous with all the beautiful work I've seen on here. Congratulations to you it looks like you are doing well with yours :-).
