Foibles

By this sidewalk cafe, Busy feet converge and clash; Footsteps soon move away, Watch easy movements dash. The demands of day hurl, A shifting, sultry world, Events that notions swirl, I mind my steps through twirls. Mad foibles now impact, The sudden mark of tact, Risk wears a solemn pact, Look deeper to sure act. No need to scream or shout, The pace of space speaks out, Zoom-in a roundabout, Sense truth in proof not doubt. Leon Enriquez 18 November 2014 Singapore
