beneath gray skies
misty morning weeps
as nightide closes eyes
wisps of smoky clouds lift
in upward spiral
delayed sunrise

Cool piece; loved the brevity. I've said this a million times, but there is something to be said about poets who can say so much in so few words. Kudos! :)

There is a great significance & commonality to your lines & the way humanity thinks. This is a lot more thought-provoking than in its initial read. Subtlely layered...brilliant.
