First Stop Mars
Once earthbound humans, now we fly first crawled, and walked, then run.
Our planets are the stepping stones, to worlds beyond our sun.
When rocket ships escaped earths grip, men landed on the moon.
Red planet mars, so near yet far, we will invade it soon.
Now astronauts as pioneers, they must start life on mars,
This gateway to discovery, of many distant stars.
Somewhere out there, we hope to find, a world where man can dwell.
And leave our mother earth behind, a planet we've made hell.
