Feelings

My sadness is so profound That it settles, like a killing dust In every corner of the room Sometimes, my eyes are wide with joy The birds are loose in my eyes Happy thoughts wing through the room And rest on the notebook Each image is a single memory Whose life span is short And heartbeat fast Each image is a mystery, Demanding preservation and admittance Each image is a song, Wanting life
