Fear
Fear of failure, fear of rejection,
Fear of stupidity, fear of detection.
Fear of critics, fear of correction,
Fear of the A, and the B, and C-section.
Not frightened, but anxious,
I've made the connection.
Scared of what shows
In the mirror's reflection.
Examine my soul
Hoping there's no rejection.
My chorus is lost
Without constant direction.
