Farm
It seems as if the best things in life, are
the things we take for granted;
we plant our trees, and find we can’t un-dig the
seeds we’ve planted.
And then the tree is harvested and
everyone can see,
the fruitless limbs of negativity.
When we grow the tree that feeds
all of humankind,
with seeds of selfish lust and
greed
we make our mark in time.
