Paul, you did a good job with this challenge. Call me a sour puss, but this form is one of my least favorites I have ever seen. I hope she places all of you on the winners' list because anyone who writes a blitz deserves a prize!! (maybe I will even try it yet, but there are now ten other contests I want to do. YIKES!)

This is my first Blitz, Andrea. Took me nearly an hour to write and I rushed to post it at ca 2am for I was under the impression that the contest was about to close. I see that entries are now acceptable till 6th Sept, so you are still in with a chance! ~~ paul

G'day Paul... I truly did enjoy your poem and how you constructed it Paul. I have spent time in the real outback and had trouble with taking in the vastness at first with the isolation. Plenty of kangaroos and emus though - Lindsay
