Famous Last Line

Old Poem: Afraid of Death He hides under a table, afraid of meeting aging, illness, war, black magic…… He clings to the comfort of his solitudeness; “death might be near”, he whispers with a shiver in his heart. Date: February 25th, 2014 New Poem: Afraid of Death II In his heart dwells a storm which he, the only one, can feel as it wrecks havoc on the things he holds dear – his love life and the sunset he loves to gaze every now and then. Now, he can’t stand being close to his lover and the sunset; he’s afraid that death may snatch him away from them any time… Date: February 27th, 2016

Nicely done, Teddy. The contrast from fear for self to fear for others too is emotional. Congratulations on your nice win. Sandra

I'm not familiar with the contest, but I liked the upgraded intensity of emotions in the second verse, where it's no longer just your own death you're afraid of ... but that of your family's. Best of luck, my friend.

So afraid to die, that one is afraid to live. Fear can be gripping, well written piece.
