Fall's Display
The loud calls of the katydids
Pierce the September air
Against the cool and damp they sing
Seek love and don't despair
The fragrance of roses now passed
Gone with August's hot days
All that's left is the garden's greens
And beauty of fall's display
The crimson, rust, and gold leaves of fall
Put to life with sunlight
A special reprieve before winter
When barren limbs delight
