Eternity

Hell is filled with eternal flames dancing on your skin, A deadly game of cat and mouse in which you will not win. The tormented souls of the ever damned cry out in mortal fear, They shouts their woes and vent their grief, These sounds no one should hear. Heaven is a welcome home to all who enter in, A place of peace, a place of love, a place to shed your sins. The lighted tunnel opens up to the pearly golden gates, With smiling, happy faces family and friends await. Arms open wide they take you in and hold you safe again. Tangled webs of evil lie in Hell's darkened corners Tormented and abused everyones a mourner. Regrets lie thick upon the wind Smoke and ashes fill the air, Inhabitants of this dark domain sadly dwell within. Light breezes flow through Heaven's clouds, Music plays quietly: peacefully soft, not loud. The divine air is scented with lilacs and morning dew To be enjoyed and cherished by only a humble few. May I come inside this lovely place and sit awhile with you?
