Like trampled orchids On blissful rocks Humanity treads the sphere of oppression We call Earth We fail endlessly Our task to protect What is truly ours As we walk across life's miserable hallways [Pause] And leaders fear to tread Where vegetation has been painted red Where human efforts crumble Betwixt nature's mumble And we wander like those before did As we walk across this blistered galaxy On the main road to doom While we sing the dirge of comfort We crawl into our tombs
