It Is Very Sad When Love Ends,
You Lie Awake at Night
And Remember All the Good Times
And If You Were Wrong or Right

There Is No Feeling Better
At Least Not Right Away
The Days and Nights Are Longer
And the Pain Just Seems to Stay

The Decision Was Not Easy
Now You've Nothing Left to Give
The Scars Will Last Forever
And It's Hard Now Just to Live

But Remember Who You Are
And Keep That Thought in Mind
There Is Someone for You Somewhere
Even Though Love's Hard to Find

To Love at Least Once in Your Life
Is More than Most People Get
So Count Yourself Real Lucky
That You and Love Have Met

A Broken Heart Won't Kill You
But at First You Think it Will
Then after Awhile, to Your Surprise
You Find There Is Life Left in You Still
