Element of Earth
Quietly, heaven paints the earth
Brown and orange of meadow's birth;
Picturesque view, a season’s tray
Refreshing the fields on display
To shed harvest in rich glory,
Splashing grains through a dazzling way.
And blue dust glistens through the trees
Hills from her feet swirls with new breeze;
While children on dunes reel and run free
Leaves dancing a cycle's pirouette;
That nature spins on a trapeze,
Stem to stem, my earth-tune's duet.
