Sweeping through your scotch broom,
weeping over your cobblestones,
lilting around the columns of Calton Hill,
is an Age of Reason so brilliantly brooding,
some nights I am kept awake
listening to Pendragon's breath caress Arthur's Seat,
and whispers drip from sills on Ramsay Street.

Though roots may drink from a sleepless night,
when morning light creeps through the curtains,
my love for you is renewed.

I found this in Chan's favourites. It is one of my favourites, too. Did you know? He passed away, October. He was real, no cardboard to him. I plan to email you soon... have a hockey poem for you. :) Sad smile, Cyndi

Hey Chris,, Enjoyed your excellent information. Deleting is an option worth consideration. My works are protected by lawyers in the copyright expertise arena. Some thoughts regarding theft of material are to let the thief achieve success and then sue... lawyers love it!! my best, chuck

Hey Chris, I have not been here for a long time but I sure am glad to see you here, poetry is an art, an opinion, an expression we all take what we want from a poem and some people like them some don't, some don't understand the true meaning, we write to make a point and you make a point so eloquently. Keep doing what you do…have a Happy and Peaceful Christmas…the captcha is BAHA…David

Just got out of the slammer myself, Chris. Sorry this happened to you. Seems one must only have positive things to say, no matter what the circumstances.

Chris, I do not like the idea of it at all. I too understand that once we put our work on this site it can be used by TPS but it always retains our identity. I feel very uncomfortable about possibly having my work out there without my permission and possibly being used in conjunction with something I may not approve of and even worse someone making money no matter how large or small the amount may be they could be doing it without my knowledge or permission. I feel violated and used.

I'm not a big fan of copyright infringement. You'e always been open with your opinions, some I agreed with, a few I might not have, but have always respected them. This site needs poets like you. God Bless.

Chris, I found this one finally. Could not think how to spell your last name last time I was here to check you out. Did you see the recent blogs? It seems that we now have the option to opt out of Zoo? Maybe that is partly due to people like you bringing it up!! I hope to see you posting again soon, and what a great ghazal this is!!! heehee
