Eating His Words

Jordan is a genius. He's the spelling bee champ at our school. There's not a word that he can't spell. And that, to me, is cool! "Jordan, how did you get so smart?" I asked. "Because as I recall, you were the worst speller in our class. But now you can spell them all." With a grin on his face, he answered, "Oh, I'm not so extraordinary. But the smartest thing I ever did, was eat the dictionary!"

Hi, Gordon, Thanks for taking the time to write. And It makes my day that someone liked it, since, you, so far, are the only one who has commented. And that means a lot to me. I guess many do not read children's poems. But my goal of posting my poems here is to share with others. So if you have children, or know a child, I hope you will share some of mine with them, since I have posted many children's poems. Now, in turn, I will go read some of yours.:)
