Dried Kindling
I try to be a gentleman – be courteous and show respect
I try to treat all women equally and not like a sex object
I try looking in your eyes direct and not rove to other parts
I try loving you for your splendid mind, your soul and your heart
But I cannot stop my libido from having other thoughts
I cannot stop my morality from forgetting what it was taught
I cannot stop my fantasies from imagining another act
I just find you woman so desirable – I apologize for that fact
So be careful with that smile you share, or the touching of my arm
You may not see the fire burn inside, smell the smoke or hear an alarm
You may not know how a little spark can, to me, be so amazing
And like a pile of dried kindling, cause my desires to start ablazing
