Dreams and a Splintered Heart

Memories play in my mind faded black and blue remembering mistakes that I cannot undo picking up the splinters of this damaged heart tired of trying to mend what always falls apart sinking broken dreams of my yesterday I can't hold on to things that want to fly away I'm trying to let go of what's come to an end hoping that maybe someday these wounds will truly mend By Morgan Mise Written December 6, 2012)
