Dragon Queen

Closing the acceptance of it Power is extinguished inside I faltered once again But by my will it won’t happen again Subject to inquiry I leave the situation behind A lost lamb near the slaughter house Where you can hear death Harboring fear deep inside Not feeling what happened For my brain is numb Numb from the pain inflicted But turning off the switch To not breathe it again Never with her The Dragon Queen Left to rule her minions But I closed down her powers over me She has no hold Just the image of fear So I walk Walk away from her Never to open communication with her I killed the Dragon Queen’s power

My dear friend, Russell, what a marvelous poem you have written! You have touched the very soul of every man with the depth and analysis of your thought! Excellent conclusion, perfect conclusion, if only people manage to do it then there would have eliminated unnecessary suffering!

You must be into The Hobbit and other fantasy themes. Any mention of dragons and I'm there. I like how some of the occurrences in this writing is comparable to everyday life. Nicely done!
